Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. This role involves traveling to farms within Tattnall County, Appling County, and surrounding areas to provide on-site equipment repair and maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for running service calls, troubleshooting equipment issues, and assisting farm owners with their questions. You will be provided with a fully equipped service truck to support your daily operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a hands-on environment within the agricultural industry. Responsibilities Conduct service calls at farms to diagnose and repair equipment used in building and equipping chicken houses. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions efficiently to minimize downtime for farm operations. Assist farm owners by answering questions related to equipment operation and maintenance, providing expert guidance when needed. Run parts to farms in the designated areas, ensuring timely delivery of necessary components for repairs. Maintain the cleanliness and proper functioning of the fully equipped service truck. Document service activities, repairs performed, and parts used for record-keeping purposes. Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction. Skills Proven experience in equipment repair, maintenance, or a related technical field is preferred. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose mechanical or electrical issues effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with farm owners and team members. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently while on the road. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; comfortable operating a fully equipped service truck. Basic knowledge of agricultural equipment or poultry house systems is a plus but not mandatory. Dependability, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential qualities for success in this role. Pay:
From $26.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
