CRDN of Coastal Georgia serves multiple counties in the region, including the greater Savannah area. Role Description The Field Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Savannah, GA. This role involves traveling to loss sites to carefully inventory, pack, and transport damaged personal property, textiles, electronics, and art to the facility for restoration. The Field Technician assists with cleaning, deodorizing, drying, and restoring items using specialized equipment and following established procedures and safety standards. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate documentation, labeling, and tracking of contents, as well as loading, unloading, and organizing items in storage. The role also requires regular interaction with homeowners, insurance professionals, and contractors in a professional and empathetic manner, supporting them throughout the restoration process. Qualifications Ability to perform hands-on work, including lifting, carrying, and moving contents and materials safely, often in challenging environments. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for accurate inventory, labeling, documentation, and tracking of items. Capacity to follow restoration procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards, with willingness to learn specialized cleaning and restoration techniques. Effective communication and customer service skills to interact respectfully with clients, insurance adjusters, and contractors on-site and at the facility. Comfort working in a team environment, supporting coworkers, and coordinating tasks to meet project timelines and customer expectations.
