Duties Respond promptly to emergency calls involving water damage, flooding, fire restoration, and mold remediation. Perform water extraction, drying, dehumidification, cleaning, and mold removal using industry-standard equipment such as pumps, moisture meters, air movers, and specialized hand tools. Operate company vehicles safely to transport equipment and personnel to job sites while adhering to all safety protocols. Conduct thorough assessments of affected areas to determine scope of work and develop detailed repair plans utilizing Xactimate or similar estimating software. Implement restoration procedures including carpet cleaning, debris removal, construction tasks, and the use of power tools and respiratory protection gear. Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), respiratory protection measures, and proper handling of hazardous materials like asbestos or mold. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients throughout the restoration process and ensuring their concerns are addressed professionally. Qualifications Prior experience in the restoration industry or construction is highly preferred; however, motivated candidates with a strong work ethic will be considered. Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques, flood restoration processes, fire restoration procedures, mold remediation practices, and asbestos abatement is desirable. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and company vehicles safely and efficiently. Familiarity with safety protocols including PPE use and respiratory protection standards required for hazardous environments. Strong emergency response readiness with the ability to handle on-call coverage during nights or weekends as needed. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude in high-pressure situations. Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy equipment or materials and working in confined or wet environments.
