In this vital role, you will be on the front lines of emergency response and property restoration, helping clients recover from water, fire, mold, and other damages. Duties Respond promptly to emergency calls for water, fire, flood, mold, or asbestos-related incidents, demonstrating emergency response readiness. Perform cleaning, debris removal, and detailed restoration work using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment. Conduct fire restoration tasks such as soot removal, odor control, and structural cleaning to restore properties to pre-loss condition. Execute flood and water damage restoration procedures including water extraction, drying, and mold remediation following industry best practices. Operate company vehicles safely in compliance with traffic laws and company policies; maintain cleanliness and routine checks of equipment. Apply safety protocols diligently by using personal protective equipment (PPE), respiratory protection, and adhering to OSHA standards during all operations. Assist with construction-related tasks such as minor repairs or building temporary structures as needed during the restoration process. Utilize Xactimate software for accurate damage assessment estimates; document work progress thoroughly. Support asbestos abatement procedures when required, ensuring proper containment and disposal methods are followed. Perform carpet cleaning and other specialized cleaning services to ensure comprehensive property restoration. Experience Previous experience in the restoration industry or related construction fields is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to handle emergency response situations with professionalism and efficiency. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment used in property restoration projects. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clients during stressful situations. Knowledge of safety protocols including PPE use, respiratory protection, mold remediation techniques, and asbestos abatement procedures is essential. Experience operating company vehicles responsibly and maintaining safety standards on job sites is required. Ability to work on-call shifts or outside regular hours as needed to respond promptly to emergencies.
