Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and energetic Water Damage Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be on the front lines of emergency response, tackling water damage and flood restoration projects with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your expertise will help restore properties efficiently while adhering to safety protocols, ensuring customer satisfaction every step of the way. Responsibilities Respond promptly to emergency calls for water damage, flood, and mold remediation projects, demonstrating readiness for on-call coverage Perform water extraction, drying, cleaning, and mold remediation using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and respiratory protection gear Operate power tools, hand tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and company vehicles safely and efficiently during restoration tasks Assist with fire restoration efforts and asbestos abatement as needed, following strict safety protocols Document job progress accurately using Xactimate software and maintain detailed records of each project Conduct construction-related tasks when necessary to facilitate property restoration and ensure thorough cleanup Communicate effectively with clients to provide excellent customer service and explain restoration processes clearly Qualifications Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided Knowledge of water damage restoration, flood response, mold remediation, and fire restoration techniques is a plus Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and company vehicles safely Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence, including PPE use and respiratory protection measures Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor Willingness to participate in on-call rotations for emergency response situations Basic familiarity with Xactimate or similar estimating software is advantageous Join our team to make a real difference by restoring properties swiftly and safely! $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
