Job Description
Discover the difference! We are looking for experienced Caregivers, CNAs or Senior Companions to join our non-medical home care team. We have a variety of shift options including overnight shifts, part and full time. We are growing fast and there are many exciting opportunities for well qualified Caregivers, CNA's and Senior Companions. Ideal candidates should have at least one year experience, reliable transportation and pass a criminal background check. Applicants interested in assisting with hospice patients will be provided TB testing and drug screening. We are looking for the best of the best! Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
- Plan and engage in recreational activities to promote socialization and skill development
- Prepare meals and ensure dietary needs are met
- Monitor and document individual's progress and report any concerns or changes to the appropriate personnel
Requirements:
- 1 Year Experience
- Ability to lift heavy objects and assist with mobility as needed
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and first aid techniques
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for transportation needs
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
