at Ness Restoration & Remediation Inc. in Nampa, Idaho, United States Job Description We're hiring entry-level Water Mitigation Technicians to help restore homes after water, mold, and fire damage. This is active, physical work—not a desk job—and it's different every day.
What You'll Do:
Work in attics and crawlspaces inspecting, taking pictures, while wearing personal protective equipment/safety gear, respirator masks Clean up standing water emergencies by using water extraction machines and drying machines Monitor drying time, maintain accurate drying logs Will be assisting in clean up and remediation of damaged areas in homes and businesses Use hand and power tools such as vacuums, sprayers, hammers, saws, Work with chemical and/or biological cleaning agents as prescribed by IICRC standards for
Mold Remediation What We're Looking For:
Someone who is always on time for work every day Someone who takes pride in the quality of their work Someone who is willing to learn and follow instructions, and doesn't complain all the time. Someone who is physically able to perform the physical functions of the job every day without injury to themselves Someone who doesn't mind getting dirty or wet Someone who is comfortable climbing ladders, crawling in attics and crawlspaces. Wants to grow and build a fulfilling career helping people restore their homes after damage. Someone who is comfortable using common household construction tools like saws, hammers, drills, etc.
Requirements:
Valid Idaho driver's license Ability to pass background check & drug screening High school diploma or GED Available for nights/weekends
Pay & Benefits:
Pay based on experience, profit sharing, 401K health insurance On call pay, emergency pay, and Cat 3 pay.
