Job Description

UniversalGEM Gaming is the premier Illinois Video Gaming Terminal Operator with decades of experience in the Amusement and Entertainment industry - a $1.5B industry in the state. UGEM operates video gaming terminals (licensed video slot machines) in nearly 500 Licensed Establishments throughout Illinois (bars, restaurants, gaming parlors, fraternal/veteran organizations, truck stops, and convenience stores), providing the most up-to-date game themes, white glove service, and state-of-the-art operations to its gaming partners. Candidates must be personable, problem-solving individuals who strive for excellence in all they do. Ideal candidates will have an active Terminal Handler License issued by the Illinois Gaming Board. POSITION DUTIES
Installing and troubleshooting hardware and software systems on Video Gaming Terminal (VGT) & Redemption Terminal (RT) systems Maintaining or repairing Video Gaming equipment Troubleshooting a variety of VGT/RT issues Configuring computer networks Offering technical support on-site or via phone Collect, refill and perform basic maintenance on RTs in Licensed establishments Collect from VGTs installed at Licensed Establishments Interact with establishment owners and patrons in a professional and courteous manner Adhere to all Company policies and documented procedures Ability to obtain and maintain a Terminal Handler License from the Illinois Gaming Board Ensures all security procedures are followed Coverage of large geographic territory - willingness to drive throughout the State of Illinois Must be available for night/weekend shifts Candidates must live within 50 miles of Chicago, Illinois to be considered.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
All Field Service Technicians will need to be licensed by the Illinois Gaming Board.
NOTE:
The Illinois Gaming Board will not issue a license if you have been convicted of a felony or crime involving dishonesty or moral turpitude. Flexibility is a must and patience is a virtue. Candidates must be willing and able to react to changing direction. Must be able to follow direction. Must be able to lift 70-90 pounds Must have strong oral and written communication skills, both in-person and over the phone Must exhibit a courteous demeanor both in person and over the phone Clean Driving Record Applicant Must Reside in Illinois Required license or certification:
