In this energetic role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of our paper folding equipment , including Pharmaceutical and Commercial folders at customer sites. Your mechanical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and leadership qualities will drive customer satisfaction and ensure the smooth operation of complex systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with cutting-edge equipment while developing your skills in a fast-paced environment. Duties Perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of our folding equipment both on-site at customer locations and in the home office in Elmhurst, IL Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to optimize system performance and extend equipment lifespan Repair mechanical components, electrical systems, and control panels with precision and attention to detail Lead on-site service calls by coordinating with customers to ensure timely resolution of technical problems Document all service activities thoroughly in reports, including parts used, repairs performed, and system conditions Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians when necessary to foster team growth and knowledge sharing Skills Experience with a strong understanding of paper folding technology Solid mechanical knowledge related to folding equipment Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide through complex repairs confidently Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance and equipment repair This role is perfect for motivated service technicians eager to apply their technical expertise in a rewarding environment.
