Field Service Technician - M-F Dayshift
Job Description
A Day In the Life As a Field Service Technician you will maintain modular equipment in the field at customer sites and at the branch. You will perform problem solving maintenance for but not limited to mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. You will also perform routine maintenance, cleaning and construction in the field of modular buildings. Update and record information on company assets and systems. Perform routine evaluations of work to be performed. Safely operate Company provided vehicle (Perks10 days + 2 half days Company Paid Holidays + vacation and sick time!

What Youll DoPerform troubleshooting, maintenance service, repairs and construction in areas of but not limited to plumbing, carpentry, painting, flooring, HVAC, roofing and electricalResponsible for the safety, quality and productivity of themselves at all customer locationsResponsible for positive interface with the customer and ensuring the companys reputation is improved with every customer contactMaintain inspection log(s) for equipment/vehicle and properly report exceptions; ensure equipment is maintained to Company and safety standardsSafely perform all tasks and understand Companys safety policies and proceduresDeliver a high-quality output consistent with the Companys construction standardsOperate Company vehicleRead and understand blueprints, schematics, procedures and company specific work orders, work instructions and floor plans providedWork outside in variable weather conditionsUse both manual and power tools and follow operating guidelinesPerforms other duties as assignedMust HavesPrior experience in construction or related work required; basic electrical, plumbing and flooring with an emphasis to learn HVACAbility to communicate with customers regarding work status and service concernsValid drivers licenseNice to HavesHVAC training and experience combined with an EPA certification preferred
Special Considerations:
90% travel and overnight stays throughout the Midwest RegionMay be required to drive extended distances to customer sitesPosition requires manual dexterity and the ability to maintain physical activity for most of the dayMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds and hold or lift a variety of objectsAble to carry, bend, stoop, turn, kneel, crawl, climb a ladder and other manual labor activitiesFlexibility & Evolving ResponsibilitiesThis job posting is intended to convey the general nature and level of work expected in the role.
