Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Field Service Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional on-site support for manufacturing facilities and industrial equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of machinery and systems across diverse industrial environments. Your expertise will ensure optimal equipment performance, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction. Duties Perform installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment and systems at client sites. Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills. Operate and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage controls, high voltage systems, and industrial electrical components. Conduct routine inspections using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to ensure machinery operates within specifications. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, maintenance history, and equipment status updates. Assist with technical sales activities by providing expert advice on system upgrades or modifications based on customer needs. Follow safety protocols related to HVAC/R systems, welding, high voltage electrical work, and industrial mechanic practices. Collaborate with clients to provide excellent customer service by explaining technical issues clearly and offering solutions that improve operational efficiency. Support emergency repairs or troubleshooting during off-hours as needed to minimize downtime. Skills Extensive experience working in manufacturing facilities with a solid understanding of industrial maintenance practices. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and HVAC/R systems. Proficiency in reading schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams for troubleshooting complex machinery. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electricians' tools (ammeters, ohmmeters), and low/high voltage systems. Excellent customer service skills combined with effective communication in English for clear technical explanations. Analysis skills necessary for diagnosing issues quickly and accurately to minimize downtime. Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting purposes. Knowledge of industrial electrician experience is a plus; industrial mechanic experience is highly valued. Ability to work independently in diverse environments while maintaining a proactive approach to safety and quality standards.
