Schedule & Travel Details When based at our Indianapolis headquarters: Standard 8-hour shifts Typical start times ranging from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM Primary focus on daytime operations When deployed to customer sites: Standard 10-hour work days Variable hours based on project demands Potential for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift assignments Occasional weekend availability required Typical travel stints last about one week Extended projects may require up to six weeks on-site Travel commitment reaches 80% post-training Per diem provided for all travel days Compensation & Overtime Hourly rate of $35.00 - $40.00 based on your expertise Overtime compensated at 1.5x Double-time pay for Sunday work Per diem provided for qualifying travel High income potential for those who embrace travel and overtime Core Responsibilities Provide expert technical support at customer sites to ensure project success Facilitate the installation, startup, and commissioning of complex machinery Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical system failures Perform essential repairs and routine maintenance to extend equipment life Deliver rapid response support to help customers minimize downtime Analyze root causes of equipment issues to implement effective, lasting solutions Interpret complex technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals Verify equipment performance through rigorous testing after service or installation Maintain clear communication with clients regarding project status and equipment health Document all service activities accurately through detailed reporting Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and manufacturing teams Ensure all work adheres to site-specific safety protocols to protect yourself and others Serve as a professional representative of our company at all times Candidate Profile We are looking for individuals with a solid foundation in mechanical or electrical systems who are passionate about troubleshooting industrial hardware. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable working independently and managing the demands of field service.
