This position is suited to an experienced compressor technician with strong troubleshooting, maintenance and repair experience on industrial compressed air equipment. The Field Service Technician will travel to local customer sites, primarily within around two hours of Indianapolis, carrying out preventative maintenance, diagnostics, start-ups and repairs on rotary screw compressors, reciprocating compressors, air dryers and associated compressed air systems. Compressor Technician Role:

Travel to customer sites across Indianapolis and surrounding areas to service compressed air equipment. Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain and repair rotary screw compressors, reciprocating compressors and air dryers. Carry out routine preventative maintenance, including oil changes, cleaning and control adjustments. Support equipment start-ups and provide technical assistance on compressed air systems. Identify causes of equipment failure and recommend improvements to reliability or performance. Advise customers on service, maintenance and repair requirements. Complete service paperwork accurately after each job. Join a rotating on-call schedule, typically one week per month from Friday to Friday. Field Service Technician / Service Technician /

Compressor Technician Requirements:

Experience as a Field Service Technician, Service Technician, Compressor Technician, Maintenance Technician or similar hands-on service role. Industrial compressed air equipment experience is strongly preferred. Experience working on rotary screw compressors, reciprocating compressors, air dryers or related compressed air systems. Commercial HVAC service experience may be considered where it includes relevant troubleshooting and field service experience. Ability to read parts manuals, service manuals, blueprints and schematics. Confident using a multimeter, hand tools and power tools safely. Valid driver's license with a good driving record. Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen. Able to regularly stand, bend, crouch and lift up to 50lbs. for more information about this Field Service Technician opportunity.
