This position requires someone confident enough to lead jobs independently — coordinating tasks, managing equipment, and maintaining strong customer communication from start to finish. You'll often work alongside our senior lead technician (Philip), but you should also be able to run projects on your own when needed. After restoration work, you may assist with construction and property maintenance tasks within our property management division. Reliable leadership and initiative can lead to a full‑time position . Responsibilities Lead and assist with water, fire, and mold restoration projects Set up and monitor drying equipment, moisture meters, and containment systems Perform demolition and minor reconstruction tasks Communicate professionally with customers and maintain a positive impression throughout each job Document job progress, materials used, and equipment notes Keep receipts and paperwork organized per project Prepare the work van daily with proper tools and equipment Load/unload fans, dehumidifiers, and supplies Support construction and property maintenance work when needed Be available for occasional emergency calls (paid at overtime rates) Follow all safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas Requirements Prior restoration or construction experience preferred (training provided) Ability to handle hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment safely Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality Physically capable of lifting 50-75 lbs and performing manual labor Reliable transportation; valid driver's license preferred Clear English communication; Spanish‑speaking is a strong plus Leadership mindset — able to manage tasks and make decisions independently Positive attitude and teamwork skills Must be dependable when scheduled or called Why Join BlueRed Restoration Competitive starting pay with leadership evaluation period Opportunity for full‑time advancement based on performance and initiative Cross‑training in restoration, construction, and property maintenance Supportive, fast‑moving environment focused on professionalism and results
