Job Description

Field Service Technician - Commercial Cleaning Equipment & Robotics We are an established, 80+ year-old commercial cleaning supply company looking for a mechanically inclined Field Service Technician to repair and service commercial cleaning equipment, including the latest autonomous and robotic offerings. This is a hands-on position combining mechanical repair, electrical troubleshooting, and newer computer-based technology. We provide the company vehicle, tools, equipment, and training. Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cleaning equipment. Work on floor scrubbers, sweepers, extractors, vacuums, and robotic cleaning equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, battery, and electronic systems. Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections. Complete repairs both at customer locations and in our service facility. Communicate equipment issues and repairs clearly with customers. Document service work using our computer-based service system. Maintain an organized company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory. What We're Looking For Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability. Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical equipment problems. Comfortable working with computers and learning new technology. Good communication and customer service skills. Dependable, organized, and able to work independently. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening. Ability to safely lift and move equipment and parts; occasional heavy lifting is required. Experience Previous commercial cleaning equipment experience is helpful but not required . Experience repairing automotive, small engines, industrial equipment, forklifts, appliances, electrical/mechanical equipment, or similar equipment can be a good fit for this position. We are willing to train the right person who has strong mechanical ability, enjoys troubleshooting problems, and is interested in learning the latest robotic and autonomous cleaning technology.
