Forklift Field Service Technician

Pridestaff is looking for a Forklift Field Service Repair Tech to cover the Cincinnati market (Greater Cincinnati plus Northern Kentucky) to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electric and internal combustion forklifts at customer sites. This role involves performing preventative maintenance, replacing components, managing on-board parts inventory, and ensuring high-quality customer service. Requires 2+ years of experience, technical skills in hydraulics/electronics, and a valid driver's license.

Key Responsibilities Technical Repairs:

Diagnose and repair electric and internal combustion (IC) forklifts.

Maintenance:

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, tune-ups, and component replacements.

Field Service:

Drive to customer sites, troubleshoot equipment, and perform repairs to minimize downtime.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate service records and job documentation.

Parts Management:

Identify, order, and manage parts inventory in the company service van.

Customer Service:

Provide professional, on-site support to customers.

Required Qualifications Experience:

2+ years of forklift technician experience.

Technical Skills:

Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.

Diagnostics:

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Tools:

Must have own tools.

License:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Requirements:

Must be able to lift heavy components and work independently.

Schedule:

Typically, this involves regular, scheduled shifts, but may include emergency, on-call, or 2nd shift work.
