Launch your technical career with TechPath at Kinsley Power Systems - beginning June 1, 2026! TechPath is a paid, hands-on training program for individuals interested in building a long-term career as a Field Service Technician in the power generation industry. Ideal for recent trade school graduates or career changers, the program combines classroom instruction, on-the-job training, and mentorship. The program begins with 5 weeks of on-site training in Syracuse, followed by continued field training alongside experienced technicians, preparing participants for a full-time Field Service Technician role upon completion. What You'll Learn & Do Participate in 5-6 weeks of structured, on-site technical training in Syracuse Learn diesel and automotive fundamentals, including electrical systems and mechanical components Complete hands-on, on-the-job training with experienced Field Service Technicians Assist with preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting Follow safety standards and company procedures Build customer service and communication skills Participate in regular check-ins, evaluations, and skill assessments Who We're Looking For Ability and willingness to travel to Syracuse for 5 weeks of on-site training Experience in diesel, automotive, or hands-on mechanical work Eagerness to learn, take feedback, and grow in a hands-on environment Valid driver's license and the ability to pass a drug screen, obtain DOT and OSHA certifications are required We're invested in your growth.
