Job Description SE Agricultural & Commercial Solutions is an agricultural construction company located in Byron Center, MI. We have an immediate opening for a full-time Field Service Technician. Our Field Service Technicians specialize in repairing and installing equipment used in wastewater systems on dairy farms. Candidates should have a sense of understanding electrical components/ control panels as well as large PVC plumbing. We are looking for an individual who enjoys working alongside others and is eager to learn. Role and Responsibilities Understand rigging, fabrication, electrical, mechanical, etc… Problem solve and think critically Finds ways to meet project deadlines Work with customer and manufacturer on start-up of new equipment and systems Work with customers as their projects are being installed Maintain a clean truck and clean tools Set personal goals and follow through to achieve them Willing to work overtime when available Willing to work out-of-town to complete projects Willing to work on-call weekends when scheduled Qualifications and Education Requirements Education related to mechanics, electronics, electrical, or hydraulic systems Mechanically Inclined, self-starter Ability to lift a minimum of 75lbs, as well as bend, twist, squat, and kneel for extended periods Able to climb and work on stairs, ladders, and scaffolding, occasionally at extreme heights Understand and adhere to workplace safety requirements Preferred Skills/Licenses Agricultural experience CDL Class A License Welding experience Experience working on control panels/basic electrical experience.
