We're placing a Field Service Technician for a client in robotics and industrial automation with a location in Fenton, MI.

What You'll Be Doing:

You'll install robotic systems and automation equipment at customer sites, then handle startup, commissioning, and testing to get everything running right. Day to day you're diagnosing and fixing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, doing preventive maintenance, and reading schematics and manuals to track down problems. You'll also configure and calibrate sensors and vision systems, train customers on safe operation, and document your service work as you go. Travel to customer sites comes with the territory, so you're comfortable being on the road when a job calls for it.

What We're Looking For:

Associate degree or technical certification in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Automation, or a related field Hands on experience installing, maintaining, or servicing industrial robotic equipment Comfort with electrical systems, PLCs, motor controls, and general automation equipment Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work from technical drawings and manuals Valid driver's license and able to travel to customer sites as needed Experience with FANUC, ABB, Yaskawa, KUKA, or Universal Robots is a plus but not required

Pay:

$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
