Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional on-site service for a wide range of commercial food service equipment, mechanical systems, and HVAC equipment. In this role, you will be the face of our company, providing expert repairs and maintenance to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Your technical expertise, proactive approach, and customer-focused attitude will drive success in this fast-paced environment. This position offers the opportunity to work independently and as part of a team while utilizing your mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills to solve complex equipment issues efficiently. Responsibilities Perform repair and maintenance of commercial food service equipment, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and kitchen equipment at customer sites. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration problems using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment. Operate company vehicles safely while traveling to various customer locations to deliver timely service. Communicate clearly with customers regarding service procedures, repairs needed, and maintenance tips to enhance their understanding. Maintain detailed service records, documentation of repairs performed, parts used, and follow-up actions required. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, or mechanical systems repair. Knowledge of HVAC & appliance technology including air conditioning systems, refrigeration units, and kitchen equipment maintenance. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex mechanical or electrical issues. Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance across construction or industrial environments. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely in various conditions. Experience with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO), HVAC system repair, appliance installation, and equipment maintenance is highly desirable. $45,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
