Job Description

Overview DEX Imaging is seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background with electro-mechanical devices, with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain office equipment, such as printers, copiers, and multi-function devices. Relevant field service experience is acceptable, as we will provide training. The primary function of this position is to travel to customer locations to install, repair, and perform maintenance on office equipment. Primarily in the healthcare market fo this area. Computer networking knowledge or IT experience is a plus as the majority of these devices are network connected to print and scan. This role requires a commitment to excellent customer service, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while ensuring customer satisfaction and efficiency. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repair on office equipment, ensuring optimal performance. Travel to customer sites to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and concerns promptly. Collaborate with team members to provide excellent service and communications. Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and customer interactions. Communicate effectively with customers, checking in to understand the problem, update them on repair timeline, and provide resolution details. Qualifications Proven experience as a Field Service Technician is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair various manufacturers products, such as Konica, Canon, HP, Sharp, Ricoh, Xerox, Kyocera, Lexmark, Toshiba, Brother, Epson. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Information Technology experience is useful. Good driving record without any major driving infractions. Ability to travel for up to a week at a time, two to three times a year is preferred as we promote and provide product training.
