Field Service Technician

Must have STRONG mechanical background in the areas of machine build and repair. The ability to read blue-prints and machine process knowledge. Experience with machinery installation, Verifying alignments and tolerances of parts using measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers and dial indicators. Requires knowledge and troubleshooting of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Bearings, Gear trains, Fluid Systems, and some wiring. Sets up, test and operates machine to verify functioning. We are seeking an individual with proven prior experience in all facets of machine building, preference will be given to individuals who have experience in 1 or more of the following machines types, extruding equipment, plastics machinery, chemical and energetic mixers, as well as centrifugal equipment, as it pertains to the responsibilities above. Effectively communicate both written and verbally, and possess excellent computer skills.
