Full Job Description Field Service Technician Company:

Training:
6 months comprehensive, in-house training Job Overview Balance Technology, Inc. is seeking a sharp-minded, talented, and motivated Field Service Technician to join our growing team. Duties include machine power-on and testing at our facility, as well as field installation of new and rebuilt equipment.
Core Requirements Education:
Two-year technical degree (Computer / Electronics focus preferred).
Experience:
2+ years of relevant experience.
Environment:
Comfort working with industrial machinery.
Technical Skills Schematics:
Ability to read and interpret Electrical, Mechanical, and Pneumatic Machine Drawings.
PLCs:
Programmable Logic Controllers (Allen Bradley, Siemens Step7 / TIAPortal).
Robotics:
Robot Interface and Programming (ABB, FANUC, EPSON).
Motion Control:
VFD Motor control and Servo Motion Control.
Networks:
Field Bus IO (DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP, ProfiNet, ProfiBus).
Safety:
Safety controllers (GuardLogix, PILZ, ProfiSafe).
Tools:
Human Machine Interface (HMI), Multi-Meters, Oscilloscopes, and other Test Equipment. Preferred Qualifications Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Precision measurement and testing equipment. Professional Skills Excellent written and oral communication skills. Sound decision-making skills and good judgment. Self-starter who learns quickly in a fast-paced environment. Ability to identify complex problems and implement solutions.
