Job Description

A National company that leads in industrial furnaces for metal processing is currently seeking multiple Field Service Engineers for direct hire opportunities with their growing team. Field Service Technicians will be working full-time and rates are anticipated to be between $45.00 -$50.00/hour with overtime pay available over 40 hours, based on each candidate's experience and education. All well-qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. We offer excellent benefits—including great medical, dental, vision, vacation, bonuses, and more. Any candidate within the continental US is welcome to apply as long as the travel requirements can be met. Candidates will preferably be located within 1 hour of a major airport for travel requirements. Qualified Field Service Technicians will possess most, if not all, of the following skills and experience: 5+ years previous Field Service experience for industrial capital equipment is essential- experience with combustion burners used in metal processing, incineration, heat treat, boilers, or closely related industries is strongly preferred. Solid experience with troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, piping, and (ideally) combustion systems is strongly preferred Good working knowledge of industrial electrical control systems Strong mechanical aptitude and welding experience Basic PLC and electrical hardware troubleshooting / debugging skills- Allen Bradley PLC's are preferred, but open to additional skills with willingness to learn Ability to travel up to 95% overnight for installations within the US, with some travel to Canada, Mexico, and internationally on occasion. Travel is 2 weeks out, 1 weekend home, 2 weeks out, etc. Must be able to work in the United States (no H-1 sponsorship or student visas considered). Complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, references, etc.
Pay:
$45.00 - $50.00 per hour
