Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of industrial equipment at client locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, hydraulics, and industrial maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. Your expertise will ensure that our clients receive top-notch service and support. Responsibilities Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and hydraulic systems in farming and construction equipment. Utilize diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters, ammeters, and voltmeters to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance. Document all service activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking purposes. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions. Adhere to safety protocols while working with high voltage equipment. Provide training and support to clients on proper equipment operation and maintenance. Qualifications Proven experience in farm/construction maintenance or a related field. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage applications. Familiarity with hydraulic systems and components. Proficient in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters, ammeters, and voltmeters. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Willingness to travel to various job sites as required. Certification or training in relevant technical fields is a plus.
