Job Description

Hydra Service, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Pump Technician to join our team in Pelahatchie, MS. General mechanical knowledge and skills needed. Job consists of diesel engine repair, service, and electrical and control system repair and service of waste water pumps. Applicant must supply own hand tools. Clean driving record and drug/alcohol test required. Excellent benefit package

Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on pumps and related equipment
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues with pumps and associated components
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure proper functioning of pumps
  • Install, align, and assemble pumps according to specifications
  • Fabricate and modify pump parts as needed
  • Operate various tools and equipment such as air brakes, cranes, and tire service tools
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts inventory
