Workers in this field can specialize in the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of industrial, hardware, construction or electronic equipment just to name a few. These roles may work in a variety of remote locations and can travel up to multiple locations in a day.

Montana Internet Field Technicians perform installations, repairs, and upgrades of both our fixed-wireless access (FWA) and Fiber (Yes, Fiber!) broadband services across Helena, Boulder, Townsend, Jefferson County, Great Falls, and points in between.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Occasional evening and weekend overtime may be required, along with participation in an on-call holiday rotation to support outage response.
Essential Job Functions:
Perform Site Surveys to determine serviceability Install new service for customers Comfortable with heights and able to complete Tower Climbing Certification Diagnose & troubleshoot connectivity problems during service visits Configure routers & customer devices as needed Perform equipment upgrades for existing customers Keep accurate & current inventory & vehicle maintenance logs Maintain company-issued assets, including tools, equipment, and vehicles Provide the highest level of customer experience in all interactions with customers Safely drive a company vehicle while utilizing the most efficient route Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs., including ladders, equipment, tools, etc. Other related duties as directed We offer: Medical Insurance with 100% employer-paid premium for employee, spouse, and dependents Health Savings Account (HSA) Aflac supplemental benefits.
