A Day in This Role Picture your morning: you check your route on a company-provided tablet, load up your well-stocked service vehicle, and head to local customer sites. A distribution center needs a safety inspection on an electric forklift. An hour later, you're troubleshooting a hydraulic leak on an LP unit. In the afternoon, you run diagnostics on a diesel truck's starting issue and log your work in our work order system before heading home. What You'll Tackle Diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts and other material handling equipment across gas, diesel, LP, and electric powertrains at customer locations Perform preventative maintenance and detailed safety inspections to keep fleets compliant and dependable Document findings, parts, and labor accurately in a computerized work order platform (ServiceMax experience is a plus, similar systems welcome) Care for your service truck, tools, and on-hand parts inventory to stay job-ready Represent LiftOne with professionalism, clear communication, and a customer-first mindset What You Bring 2+ years in material handling service or related backgrounds such as automotive, diesel, military, or heavy equipment mechanics Proven troubleshooting across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems Comfort working independently in the field with local travel to customer sites Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Positive attitude, great communication, and pride in quality workmanship Safety champion: you lead with a safety-first approach, following all company and customer protocols to protect yourself, teammates, and equipment Tools, Training, and Support Comprehensive factory and OEM training plus specialized industry education to help you excel Company service vehicle, gas card, and uniforms (for field roles) Company-provided tablet and phone Compensation and Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Full benefits package, including: Medical, dental, and vision coverage Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options Access to chiropractic and physical therapy visits through insurance enrollment (subject to plan eligibility and limitations) 401(k) with company match Company-paid life insurance and short/long-term disability Paid time off, holidays, and personal leave Career advancement opportunities across the Weisiger Group family of companies Family-oriented culture built on stability and nearly 100 years of trust Join Our Legacy If you're ready to grow your mechanical career with a team that invests in your success and treats you like family, we'd love to meet you.
