Traveling CNC Field Service Technician Titan Trades CNC Pay:

ABOUT THE ASSIGNMENT
Titan Trades CNC is seeking an experienced CNC Field Service Technician to support a machine-tool distributor with installations, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance at customer facilities. This position requires someone who can work independently, troubleshoot methodically, and represent the service team professionally. Regional travel between customer sites is required. Titan is led by an experienced machinist. We understand the equipment, the work, and the importance of matching your actual technical capabilities to the assignment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Install, start up, and commission CNC equipment at customer facilities. Diagnose mechanical problems, machine alarms, and crash-related issues. Troubleshoot electrical, wiring, and pneumatic systems within your qualifications and the approved service scope. Perform corrective repairs and preventive maintenance. Navigate CNC controls and support setup, programming checks, and functional verification. Communicate findings and service recommendations to customers and the service team. Document completed work and outstanding issues. Follow site safety procedures, including equipment isolation and lockout/tagout requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Hands-on experience installing, maintaining, or repairing CNC machine tools. Demonstrated ability to diagnose problems and complete service work independently. Ability to read electrical schematics and technical service documentation. Strong mechanical aptitude and electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with CNC programming and safe control navigation. Clear communication and a professional approach to customer service. Availability for regional travel and an anticipated 90-day assignment.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Citizen Cincom Swiss machines and Miyano turning equipment. Mitsubishi and FANUC controls. CNC installation, commissioning, crash recovery, and customer-site service. Experience with comparable equipment will also be considered. Specific machine models and technical requirements will be reviewed during the interview.
COMPENSATION AND ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Hourly pay is $50-$55, based on relevant equipment experience and demonstrated service capability. The work schedule, travel expectations, applicable per diem, lodging arrangements, and transportation or reimbursement terms will be reviewed before an assignment is accepted. Any applicable travel allowances are separate from hourly wages.
