Position Summary The Field Service Technician is the face of FlowCore Systems in the field. This position is responsible for installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining FlowCore automation equipment at customer locations. You'll work directly with production personnel, electricians, instrumentation technicians, and field operators to ensure our systems operate reliably and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a combination of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and computer-based work while spending time in the field rather than behind a desk. Primary Responsibilities Install and commission FlowCore automation systems at customer locations. Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service on FlowCore equipment. Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and communication issues. Configure controllers, telemetry equipment, and automation systems. Train customers on the operation and maintenance of FlowCore equipment. Document service work, startup reports, and maintenance activities. Communicate professionally with customers to resolve technical issues. Work closely with the engineering and manufacturing teams to improve products and customer experience. Maintain company vehicles, tools, and service equipment. Follow all company and customer safety policies and procedures. Qualifications Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment in the field. Basic understanding of electrical systems, instrumentation, controls, or industrial automation. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Willingness to travel to customer locations throughout the region. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Preferred Qualifications Experience in oil and gas production, automation, instrumentation, electrical, or industrial maintenance. Experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, telemetry, VFDs, or industrial controls. Electrical, instrumentation, or mechanical trade experience. CDL or DOT medical card (preferred but not required).
