Restoration Technician

•20+/hour
Location:
Hastings, NE Pay:
$18
•20+/hour, depending on experience
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, plus rotating on-call/emergency work after hours and on weekends We're hiring a Restoration Technician in Hastings! This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys physical work, variety and seeing the results of a job well done. You'll help restore homes and businesses following water damage, fires, mold, severe weather and other unexpected events. As a Restoration Technician, you'll work directly at residential and commercial properties, so professionalism, dependability and trustworthiness are essential.
Responsibilities:
Assess property damaged by water, fire, mold and severe weather Perform water extraction and cleanup services Clean, pack and store salvageable belongings and property Remove damaged drywall, plumbing and other materials Assist with repairs and replacement of damaged materials Decontaminate and deodorize affected areas Safely operate hand and power tools Move equipment, materials and belongings as needed Respond to emergency restoration calls after hours and on weekends as scheduled Maintain a clean, professional appearance while working in customers' homes and businesses
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license with a good driving record required Ability to perform physically demanding work, including heavy lifting, bending and climbing stairs Comfortable using hand and power tools Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Honest, trustworthy and respectful when working on customers' property Professional and presentable appearance Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to participate in after-hours and weekend emergency/on-call work
