Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Restoration Technician to join our team, specializing in restoration services for fire, water, mold, and other property damages. This role is vital in helping clients recover from disasters through effective mitigation and remediation efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience or interest in the restoration industry, with a focus on hands-on work involving cleaning, mitigation and remediation. Duties Perform water damage restoration, including water extraction and drying techniques using appropriate equipment. Conduct fire restoration tasks such as debris removal, soot cleaning, and odor control. Execute mold remediation procedures following industry standards to ensure safe and effective removal. Utilize hand tools and power tools for demolition, repair, and construction activities related to mitigation projects. Conduct carpet cleaning and other surface cleaning tasks to restore property appearance. Assist with the setup and operation of equipment for moisture detection, air filtration, and containment. Follow safety protocols during all mitigation activities to ensure a secure work environment. Document work performed and communicate progress with team members and clients as needed. Requirements Prior experience or training in the restoration industry is preferred; relevant skills include mold remediation, asbestos abatement, or fire/water damage restoration. Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques is highly desirable. Experience with cleaning services such as carpet cleaning or general surface cleaning is a plus. Ability to operate specialized equipment safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards. Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods. Valid driver's license preferred; willingness to learn industry-specific procedures is essential. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team in various environments.
