Respirator Full Job Description Pay:
$22-$26 per hour, based on directly related experience, certifications, and ability to work independently. Overtime opportunities are available most weeks. SERVPRO Team JRF is hiring a full-time Water Damage Restoration Technician based in Manchester NH. This is hands-on construction and demolition work that includes removing damaged materials, extracting water, setting up drying equipment, cleaning affected areas, and helping return properties to their pre-loss condition. Prior restoration experience is helpful but not required. We provide training to dependable people who are ready to work, learn, and grow with our company. Candidates with experience as a demolition laborer, construction laborer, mover, warehouse associate, cleaner, landscaper, maintenance technician, or other hands-on occupation are encouraged to apply. What you will do Respond with your team to residential and commercial water, fire, smoke, and mold-damage projects. Perform selective demolition, including the removal of damaged drywall, flooring, insulation, trim, and other materials. Extract standing water and assist with setting up air movers, dehumidifiers, and other professional drying equipment. Take moisture readings, photographs, and job notes to document work completed. Clean, deodorize, move, protect, and dispose of contents and affected materials. Load, unload, clean, and maintain restoration equipment and tools. Maintain safe, organized work areas and follow OSHA and SERVPRO safety procedures. Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, property managers, subcontractors, and teammates. Travel from our Manchester location to customer properties throughout the New Hampshire service area. Schedule Full-time position Typical weekday schedule is approximately 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Start and end times may vary according to job and customer needs. Overtime is available most weeks. Technicians participate in an after-hours on-call rotation approximately one week per month. Emergency assignments may occasionally require evening, early-morning, or weekend work. What we are looking for Dependable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic Willingness to learn restoration, mitigation, cleaning, and demolition skills A valid driver's license and the ability to meet company driving requirements Ability to participate in the rotating on-call schedule Ability to understand written and verbal safety instructions and communicate effectively with customers and teammates in English Spanish-language skills are a plus Restoration, construction, demolition, moving, warehouse, cleaning, landscaping, maintenance, or other physical-work experience is preferred but not required OSHA 10 or IICRC certification is a plus but is not required Physical and work-environment requirements Qualified candidates must be able to perform the position's essential functions, with or without reasonable accommodation, including: Lifting, carrying, pushing, and moving materials or equipment weighing up to 75 pounds Climbing and working from ladders and stairs Walking and working safely on uneven surfaces Bending, kneeling, reaching, and working on your feet for extended periods Working in attics, crawlspaces, mechanical spaces, and other confined areas Wearing required PPE, which may include a respirator, Tyvek suit, gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and fall-protection equipment Working in environments that may be wet, dusty, hot, cold, or affected by smoke, mold, or construction debris Compensation and benefits $22-$26 per hour Overtime opportunities Health insurance (100% company paid/ single employee) Dental insurance (100% company paid/ single employee) Vision insurance (100% company paid/ single employee) 401(k) with company match Profit sharing program Paid time off Company-provided OSHA 10 training for employees who do not already have it Ongoing restoration and safety training Professional development assistance Opportunities to advance into lead-technician and supervisory positions SERVPRO Team JRF is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
