Job Description

Troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, and repair electromechanical equipment and electronic systems in an airport-based field service environment. Job Requirements Electromechanical troubleshooting experience Proficiency with multimeters and electrical testing equipment Experience performing voltage testing and electrical diagnostics Experience performing mechanical diagnostics Preventive maintenance experience Knowledge of printed circuit boards, circuit boards, and electronic components Ability to work non-traditional schedules and participate in an on-call rotation Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, physical examination, and airport badging process Ability to meet credit-history requirements associated with airport security clearance Residence within commuting distance of Boston Logan International Airport, LaGuardia Airport, or Bradley International Airport Availability for a September 14 start date Preferred Skills Field service or equipment maintenance experience Experience repairing electronic and electromechanical systems Experience servicing equipment in airports or other secured facilities Credit score of 625 or higher Stable financial history without significant unresolved collections, recent repossessions, or other issues that could affect security clearance eligibility Physical Requirements Pass a full physical examination Work in confined spaces Crawl around and beneath equipment Lift and move equipment parts and components Bend, kneel, climb, and stand for extended periods Job Responsibilities Troubleshoot electromechanical equipment and associated electronic systems Perform voltage testing using multimeters and other diagnostic equipment Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and circuit-board failures Inspect, test, repair, and replace printed circuit boards and electronic components Perform scheduled preventive maintenance Complete equipment repairs in secured airport environments Respond to equipment service requests during assigned shifts and on-call periods Document diagnostic findings, maintenance activities, and completed repairs
