We're continuing to grow and are looking for a Restoration Technician who wants to become an important part of our field team.THE ROLE
Our Restoration Technician is a hands-on field position focused primarily on water mitigation and mold remediation, with opportunities to assist with light reconstruction and repair work. You'll work both independently and alongside other technicians depending on the size and scope of the project. We're looking for someone who is dependable, comfortable working with their hands, communicates professionally with customers, and takes pride in completing work correctly and leaving a clean, professional jobsite.RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform water mitigation and mold remediation services in residential and commercial properties Complete selective demolition, including removal of drywall, insulation, flooring, trim, cabinetry, and other affected building materials Set up containment, floor protection, dust control, and other jobsite protection Set up, monitor, move, and remove drying and air filtration equipment Take moisture readings and assist with moisture mapping and drying documentation Perform HEPA vacuuming, detailed cleaning, antimicrobial application, and other remediation procedures Safely load, unload, transport, clean, and maintain restoration equipment Maintain clean and organized jobsites, vehicles, equipment, and warehouse areas Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, tenants, and other trades Document work performed through photographs, notes, moisture readings, and required job documentation Assist with light reconstruction and repair work when needed Identify unexpected field conditions and communicate them to the Project Manager Follow company procedures for safety, PPE, water mitigation, mold remediation, and containment Participate in the company's rotating after-hours emergency response scheduleQUALIFICATIONS
Dependable and consistently able to arrive on time and ready to work Strong communication and customer service skills Willing and able to work independently or as part of a team Comfortable performing physical, construction-related work Able to safely lift and move restoration equipment, debris, and building materials Comfortable using hand tools and power tools Able to follow written and verbal scopes of work Willing to work occasional overtime when projects require it Willing to participate in a scheduled after-hours/on-call rotation Valid driver's license and acceptable driving recordPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The following are preferred but are not required for the right candidate: Previous water mitigation or property restoration experience Previous mold remediation experience Construction, remodeling, or residential repair experience Drywall/sheetrock installation, finishing, and repair experience Experience with painting, trim, flooring, or other residential repairs Experience operating air movers, dehumidifiers, HEPA air scrubbers, moisture meters, and other restoration equipment IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) certification IICRC Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT), Applied Structural Drying (ASD), or other relevant IICRC certifications Other relevant restoration, construction, safety, or environmental certificationsSCHEDULE
This is a full-time position. Our normal workday begins at 8:00 AM. Because property restoration is an emergency-service business, there will occasionally be projects that require work outside of normal business hours. Technicians participate in a rotating after-hours/on-call schedule.COMPENSATION
$19.00 - $26.00 per hour Starting compensation is based on restoration experience, construction ability, certifications, and demonstrated skill level. Overtime and additional compensation for after-hours emergency response are available.AFTER-HOURS COMPENSATION
Scheduled On-Call:
$50 stipend for participating in the scheduled on-call rotation Additional $100 bonus when the on-call technician responds to an after-hours emergency and successfully signs the projectVoluntary After-Hours Response:
$200 bonus when a technician who is not scheduled on-call voluntarily responds to an available after-hours emergency After-hours bonuses require complete and accurate job documentation.BENEFITS
