Medical, Vision, Dental, Life, and 401(k) C&L Pump Service Inc. is looking for an experienced, hardworking, self-driven Service Technician in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area. The primary duties of a Field Service Technician are to perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs and maintenance on equipment, provide great customer satisfaction politely and professionally, and maintain excellent safety standards. The ideal candidate should have applicable petroleum experience. However, we are willing to train!

Responsibilities:

Take daily directions from the Service Dispatcher on calls to be performed Follow and abide by C&L Pump service call procedures Respond to after-hours emergency service requests for "site down" or other priority situations in an on-call rotation Meet response time parameters for repair types Maintain a company-furnished vehicle and inventory of repair parts Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, reporting any unsafe conditions Complete online and classroom training courses, including regular re-certifications Follow all customer protocols and procedures, including the customer's safety and housekeeping guidelines when performing repairs at customer site Communicate with warehouse personnel to verify inventory and replenish what is needed on the truck

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required Basic computer skills 1 year of experience in petroleum-related service preferred; will provide training Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems Troubleshooting skills/logical problem-solving skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Strong communication skills and customer relations skills Good work ethic Basic computer skills (preferred) Experience or Certification(s) in one or more of the following (preferred) Gilbarco Dispenser Wayne Dispenser Gasboy Fleet Passport Veeder Root Verifone Journeyman Electrician Ability to: Exhibit a professional demeanor, and develop customer relations and superior service Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and work in a high-traffic area Work flexible hours Work independently and as a member of a team Create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, and supervisors) Ability to safely operate personal hand tools Ability to properly use a multimeter Pass a drug test and background check Why you will love working here:
