Duties Respond promptly to emergency calls for water, flood, fire, or mold-related incidents, demonstrating emergency response readiness. Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification using specialized equipment and power tools to mitigate damage effectively. Conduct cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning, debris removal, and surface sanitation to restore property cleanliness. Assist with fire restoration efforts such as smoke odor removal and minor structural repairs using hand tools and construction experience. Implement mold remediation and asbestos abatement procedures following strict safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines. Operate company vehicles safely for transportation to job sites while adhering to all safety protocols. Use Xactimate software for accurate damage assessment estimates; document all work performed thoroughly. Follow safety protocols diligently by utilizing respiratory protection and PPE at all times during mitigation activities. Collaborate with clients professionally to provide updates on project progress and ensure high levels of customer service. Maintain a clean work environment by adhering to restoration industry standards for safety and efficiency. Experience Prior experience in the restoration industry or related construction fields is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of water damage restoration, flood restoration, fire restoration, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement processes. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and construction techniques. Familiarity with safety protocols including respiratory protection and PPE use in hazardous environments. Ability to operate company vehicles responsibly and follow all safety regulations during transportation. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients during stressful situations. Willingness to be on-call for emergency response coverage outside of regular hours when needed. $17.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 45.0 per week
