What You'll Do Perform startup, commissioning, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of medium- and low-voltage electrical systems. Work with transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, protective relays, MCCs, VFDs, and other power distribution equipment. Perform electrical testing including current injection, resistance, dielectric, high-potential, transformer turns-ratio, and thermal testing. Troubleshoot electrical control circuits and perform service upgrades, retrofits, and repairs. Read electrical drawings, schematics, and power system studies. Assist with protective relay testing and configuration. Provide technical support and training to customers. Travel throughout TX, AZ, NM, NV, and UT. What We're Looking For 2+ years of experience in electrical testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, or field service. Experience with medium- and low-voltage electrical power systems. Familiarity with electrical test equipment and power distribution equipment. Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics. Knowledge of electrical safety standards and practices. Ability to lift and move equipment up to 75 lbs. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Preferred:
NETA, AVO, or NICET certification; thermography experience; Associate degree.
INDW Pay:
$33.00 - $55.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 70.0 per week
