ABOUT THE POSITION

PuroClean of Huntington is looking for a dependable, hardworking Restoration Technician to join our growing team. This is an entry-level opportunity with paid training and room for advancement. Previous restoration experience is helpful but not required. We are looking for someone who is reliable, comfortable performing physical work, willing to learn, and interested in building a long-term career in the property-restoration industry. The right candidate will receive hands-on training in water-damage restoration, structural drying, fire and smoke cleanup, mold remediation, biohazard cleanup, demolition, equipment operation, and job-site documentation. Employees who demonstrate reliability, technical ability, professionalism, and leadership may have the opportunity to advance into a Lead Restoration Technician position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with water extraction, structural drying, fire and smoke cleanup, mold remediation, biohazard cleanup, and other property-restoration services Set up, monitor, clean, and remove drying and air-filtration equipment Assist with selective demolition, including removing damaged drywall, insulation, flooring, baseboards, and other building materials Build containment barriers and follow appropriate dust-control procedures Perform HEPA vacuuming, detailed cleaning, disinfecting, and odor-control services Take job-site photographs and assist with moisture readings and daily documentation Load and unload equipment, materials, and supplies Clean and maintain company vehicles, tools, and restoration equipment Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe Follow instructions from Lead Technicians, Project Managers, and the Operations Manager Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers and coworkers Follow company procedures and all applicable safety requirements Participate in a rotating after-hours emergency-response schedule as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Dependable, punctual, and ready to work Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Comfortable performing physical, hands-on work Able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team Professional appearance and communication skills Comfortable working in homes, commercial buildings, basements, crawlspaces, and other job-site environments Comfortable using a smartphone to take photographs and complete job documentation Construction, demolition, cleaning, maintenance, moving, or restoration experience is helpful but not required

REQUIREMENTS

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Reliable transportation to and from our Huntington location Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds Ability to bend, kneel, climb stairs, and remain physically active throughout the workday Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including a respirator when necessary Availability for occasional overtime, weekends, and rotating after-hours emergency calls High school diploma or equivalent preferred Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

PAY AND ADVANCEMENT

Starting pay is $18-$20 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and transferable skills. Employees will receive ongoing hands-on training and regular performance evaluations. Opportunities for increased compensation and advancement are based on attendance, job performance, technical development, documentation, customer service, and the ability to take on additional responsibility. Strong performers may be considered for advancement into a Lead Restoration Technician position.
