Job Description
As a Field Service Technician I at Clean Harbors, you will be at the forefront of our mission to provide top-tier environmental, energy, and industrial services across North America. This role specifically supports our efforts to manage hazardous waste, respond to emergency spills, and conduct industrial cleaning operations, thereby safeguarding the environment. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, skilled technician who thrives in dynamic field environments and adheres to the highest standards of safety and environmental compliance. Responsibilities Perform onsite services including hazardous waste collection, emergency spill response, and industrial cleaning under supervisor's guidance. Operate vehicles and equipment following company protocols and safety standards. Document service actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with EPA, DOT, and OSHA regulations at all service sites. Participate in safety meetings, trainings, and drills. Assist in the maintenance and operation of environmental service equipment. Communicate effectively with team members and clients to deliver high-quality service. Required Skills Proficient in the use of hand tools and operating machinery relevant to environmental services. Understanding of hazardous material handling and waste management. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer and data entry skills.
