As a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic at Clean Harbors, you will be part of a team dedicated to maintaining and repairing large diesel vehicles and equipment, essential for supporting environmental, energy, and industrial services. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repair on heavy diesel engines and equipment including trucks, trailers, and other heavy machinery. Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine the best ways to correct them, using the appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment. Follow all safety procedures and best practices, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Record detailed service and repair logs, and communicate ongoing issues with management. Collaborate with other team members to facilitate scheduled and emergency maintenance and repairs. Support fleet operational status by initiating and maintaining an inventory of parts and supplies. Stay current with industry technology and developments, and apply new skills to improve job performance. Required Skills In-depth knowledge of diesel engines and components.
