Take your tools on the road. We're hiring an experienced Mobile Field Service Technician to service diesel trucks, bucket trucks, boom trucks, and utility equipment across the greater Newark, Queens and Bronx areas — no two days look the same, and you'll run your own truck like it's your business.

This role is built for a diesel or heavy truck tech who's also spent time around bucket trucks, boom trucks, digger derricks, or other aerial/utility equipment. If you've turned wrenches on Class 6-8 diesel trucks and have some hands-on exposure to utility fleet equipment, keep reading.
Not the right fit:
techs with automotive-only or diesel-only backgrounds and zero bucket/boom truck exposure.
A typical day:
Roll out in your company F-550 to service customer fleets on-site Perform PM service, DOT inspections, and annual safety inspections Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, PTOs, and driveline components Work on bucket trucks, boom trucks, digger derricks, and utility bodies Run ANSI boom inspections and dielectric testing (we'll train you if you're new to it) Document your work, then move to the next stop — mostly independent, customer-facing work What you bring: 3+ years repairing medium
  • or heavy-duty diesel trucks Some hands-on experience with bucket trucks, boom trucks, or utility equipment (doesn't need to be your main background) Solid mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostic skills Valid driver's license, clean driving record Comfortable working independently in the field Open to overnight travel 2-4 nights/month Nice to have (not required): ANSI boom inspection or dielectric testing experience DOT inspection certification Prior mobile field service experience
