•39 What you'll do Create and manage work orders; track service intervals; order parts using laptops/tablets. Diagnose and fix generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution, commercial HVAC, and oil-free air compressors. Perform PMs and repairs in the shop; travel to customer sites as needed for field work. Troubleshoot failures on-site or in-shop; document work completely each day. Set up and operate equipment independently or with a teammate. Mentor junior technicians and assist with equipment/parts logistics. Work safely and understand OSHA requirements (preferred). What you bring Personal tool set applicable to the role; strong mechanical aptitude. Experience inspecting, maintaining, and repairing power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment. Ability to calculate effective tonnage and kW needs; read and apply schematics. Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication. Education & experience High school diploma required; trade school certificate preferred. Background in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; 21+ to operate a company vehicle. Physical requirements Ability to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely. Lift up to 50 lbs. Some customer sites may require Field Technicians to be clean shaven.
