Field Service Boiler Technician Locations:

Portland ME, Concord NH, Bow NH, Albany NY, Syracuse NY, Burlington VT, East Windsor CT Description:

• Hands-on field service role supporting commercial and industrial boiler systems.

Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, start up, commission, and tune boilers, burners, controls, and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service hydronic, steam, firetube, and watertube boilers.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, controls, and instrumentation issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance, emergency service, startups, and commissioning.
• Conduct combustion analysis and burner tuning.
• Complete service reports and communicate with customers.
• Participate in local on-call rotation.
• Assist and mentor junior technicians.

What You Bring:

• Commercial or industrial boiler service experience.
• Field troubleshooting, repair, or maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical skills with electrical and controls knowledge.
• Experience with burners, combustion, steam, or hydronic systems.
• Commercial HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or combustion backgrounds considered.
• Technical-school training is a plus.

Do you have at least 2 years of hands-on experience with burners and combustion systems, including burner troubleshooting or repair? Do you have at least 2 years of hands-on field service experience troubleshooting, servicing, repairing, or maintaining commercial/industrial equipment at customer or job sites? Are you willing to participate in a local emergency on-call rotation, do you have a valid driver's license and clean driving record?
