Job Description
Level B Field Service Technician Benefits:

Level B Field Service Technician Responsibilities:
- Assist in scheduled maintenance tasks for assigned territory clients
- Develop the appropriate procedures for logging work in compliance with established guidelines
- Takes ownership of company assigned tools
- Works directly with an assigned and experienced service technician for mandatory training including but not limited to, o Client specifications o Different types of generators in place on client site(s) o Full cycle knowledge of refrigeration cycle o Full cycle knowledge of electronic circuits o Full cycle knowledge of engine diagnostics o Full cycle knowledge of engine repair o Perform on-site and shop maintenance and cleaning of systems (HX flush, punch tubes, etc.
Level B Field Service Technician Qualifications:
- Previous experience as Apprentice and Level C Field Service Technician
- Clean and valid driver's license (operates company supplied vehicle)
- Ability to read and follow manuals, electrical, and mechanical diagrams
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Motivation to become self-sufficient and educated on Tecogen products and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to be flexible with changing daily priorities in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements:
- Driving company vehicle
- Constant sitting, standing, squatting, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Client sites may vary
- Frequent exposure to varying weather conditions
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime Eligible
- On Call Rotation Participation (where applicable based on territory)
