This is a technical, hands-on role with full paid training and certification. Work is clean, steady, and customer-focused — no industrial plants, no heavy machinery, and no nights or weekends . Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain gas fireplaces and gas log sets Install burners, valves, pilots, ignition systems, and remote controls Perform annual tune-ups and safety inspections Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues Document work performed using mobile software Communicate clearly and professionally with customers Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory Experience (Any of the following) 1+ year in a trade: plumbing, HVAC, electrical, appliance repair, or similar Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn a specialty trade Experience working in customers' homes is a plus Military technical background also a strong match Valid driver's license required No fireplace experience necessary — we provide full training and pay for NFI certification.
