SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Mechanical Able to understand and read mechanical plans, drawings, and site layouts Knowledge of industrial equipment Experience with installation, alignment, and commissioning of pumps, mixers, or other industrial equipment is important for success in this position Knowledge on how to troubleshoot improperly operating equipment Willingness and aptitude to learn new mechanical skills Knowledge of VFD and/or PLC's in industrial setting preferred Knowledge of rigging, forklift operation, and confined space entry preferred Welding, rigging certification preferred Computer Skills Ability to perform basic tasks on a computer including Microsoft Office Suite Ability to perform basic tasks on a mobile device Microsoft Dynamics 365, Excel abilities are preferred Energy & Drive Self-motivated to complete assigned tasks Will be energized by challenges and drawn towards opportunities Will be focused on reaching a quality solution which is acceptable to our customer and the business Organizational Confident and professional when representing the company Collaborate with engineering, sales, and service teams to deliver a seamless customer experience Personal and Interpersonal A strong sense of customer focus (internal/external) Professional demeanor in customer-facing roles Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team Quality Assurance Carry out all duties in accordance with the Quality Assurance procedures and department/area work instructions Contribute to general improvements in the quality and key activities of the department/area Training Participate in training where/as required PEC Core (OSHA 30) Welding capabilities Health, Safety and Environment Carry out all duties safely and in accordance with the Health & Safety Policy, Employee Handbook, procedures, training and instruction To be safety conscious and report any safety hazards to the HSE representative

QUALIFICATIONS
Mechanical Installation/Service Work at least 5 years
OSHA 30, NCCCO
Rigger I (preferred) Welding, rigging, and fork lift operation (preferred)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide immediate, customer-focused support to yield 100% customer satisfaction. Assist the sales representatives and customers with technical expertise and complete mechanical understanding of industrial rotating equipment, and related components Troubleshoot and repair customer equipment breakdowns or system failures and provide recommendations for assembly, disassembly, and repair techniques, as well as improved maintenance practices to equipment operating reliability. Installation of NOV FMS products as needed by the business Conduct training for customers, reps, and Authorized Service Center personnel in proper assembly, disassembly, and repair procedures related to NOV products. Timely and accurate completion of Field Service Reports. Travel to customers' facilities for service calls and courtesy customer support calls sometimes on short notice. Identify opportunities for improving processes using Lean tools. Travel primarily Mon-Fri up to 75% sometimes on short notice International travel may be required 1-2 times yearly
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Work in harsh environments including rain, snow, heat, and heights with safety harness Must be able to constantly walk and stand Must be able to occasionally grasp, climb, balance, crouch, crawl, kneel, reach with arms and hands Must be able to perform labor actions such as wrenching, pulling, and pushing Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently in the field and manage time effectively Ability to work overtime and weekends Willingness to travel frequently and work in various field conditions Valid driver's license and clean driving record Commitment to safety and quality in all service operations Must be able to pass a background, drug test, and health screenings
