About us We are a family-owned, Ohio based company looking for a Exchange Field Service Technician with strong customer service skills who desires to start a new career in the industrial water treatment industry. Your daily focus will be on delivering essential water treatment supplies, executing scheduled exchanges of Deionization tanks, replenishing Reverse Osmosis Salt and replacing filtration components. We are looking for a professional who takes pride in high-quality customer service who is self-motivated and has a positive attitude and desire to learn. Must have a clean and acceptable driving record and the ability to obtain a medical DOT card. Primary Responsibilities • Will drive a company-provided delivery/service vehicle to customer locations Operate vehicle in compliance with all DOT standards and regulations Safely transport, deliver and swap out DI exchange tanks, filters and salt at client facilities. Count and verify condition of goods being delivered and brought back from customer locations Assist with plant operations and service tech work as needed Assist with PM Services as needed Overtime required as needed to meet customer delivery demands Travel and overnight stays may be required at times Occasional weekends for on call customer emergency Other projects and duties as assigned Skills Ability to verbally interact with manager, peers and customers Ability to service, diagnose, repair and install goods and equipment as needed. Understanding of basic mechanical tools, plumbing, water valves and electrical a plus Ability to operate a fork lift. Requirements High School Diploma or GED Must have a valid driver's license with a clean and acceptable driving record Must be able to obtain a DOT Card Basic proficiency with tools and handheld mechanical devices Water treatment, boil operator and/or PLC experience a plus Electrical experience a plus Ability to frequently lift and/or move 55 pounds
