Responsibilities Execute comprehensive repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems, exercising independent technical judgment to minimize downtime. Utilize digital diagnostic tools and tablets to accurately document service history, manage work orders, and track maintenance intervals. Conduct onsite troubleshooting and preventative maintenance at customer locations, ensuring the service vehicle remains organized and professional. Mentor junior staff members by sharing technical knowledge and best practices for equipment repair. Coordinate the procurement of necessary components and assist with the logistical transport of equipment and parts. Maintain a culture of safety by strictly adhering to industry-standard protocols and operational guidelines. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing complex hydraulic and diesel systems. Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including the ability to interpret detailed electrical schematics. Comfortable using mobile technology and electronic documentation systems. Preferred Skills In-depth knowledge of OSHA safety standards and compliance. Previous experience in a field service role managing customer-owned equipment.
