Lead Technician - Restoration Services Sharp & Wells Inc.
DBA:
All Dry Services - East Cuyahoga Join a fast-growing restoration company where leadership, training, and community impact matter. Position Summary The Lead Technician is a critical field leadership role responsible for overseeing and executing restoration projects including water damage mitigation, mold remediation, and related services. This role serves as the on-site lead, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with All Dry Services' standards of excellence. The Lead Technician acts as a primary point of contact for customers while coordinating technicians, equipment, and documentation. Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage on-site restoration projects from start to completion.
- Assess property damage and determine appropriate mitigation and remediation plans.
- Perform and oversee water extraction, drying, mold remediation, and light demolition.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners, property managers, and adjusters.
- Supervise and guide technicians and laborers on job sites.
- Ensure proper setup, use, and monitoring of restoration equipment.
- Maintain accurate job documentation, photos, moisture readings, and reports.
- Follow all safety protocols including PPE, containment, and hazard awareness.
- Identify potential asbestos or hazardous materials and follow escalation procedures.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in clean working condition.
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergency response services. Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in restoration, mitigation, or construction-related work.
- Strong knowledge of water damage mitigation and mold remediation processes.
- Leadership mindset with the ability to manage crews and projects.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Comfortable using mobile technology and job management software. Certifications (Preferred or Required Upon Hire)
- IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) - required or obtained during employment.
- IICRC Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT) - preferred.
- Asbestos Awareness Training.
- Mold Remediation Training.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 (preferred).
